Senior Quality Engineer – Automation

Minimum Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science
• 6+ of solid Functional Testing / Test Automation Experience (Should have managed a small team)

Skills required:

• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as selenium, Lambda Test, Squish and etc..
• Familiarity with programming script languages including JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience in handling database and SQL queries is an added advantage

• Develop and execute Software Test Plans for an Wealth Management product
• Good knowledge and experience in Software Development life cycle (SDLC) and quality processes
• Excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills, as well as innovation and creativity combined with strong personality

• Stays current on established tools, techniques, and technologies
• Knowledge on different Test Management and Defect Tracking tools
• Excellent hands on experience in Selenium Web Driver Tool with Java, C# (BDD using Cucumber, TDD etc.) or other tools.
• Good hands-on knowledge on the Automation Functional Testing tool Cypress.
• Hands-on experience on the Load Testing tools Blazemeter and Gatling.
• Experience on tools like Splunk, New Relic, Statuscake and Sentry for Logging, monitoring and Incident Management.
• Expertise and having hands on experience on Performance Testing using Apache JMeter or other tools.
• Proficient in Vulnerability Accessibility and Penetration Testing(VAPT) and Security Testing
• Excellent expertise on the Manual Testing
• Develop and Execute regression and system tests
• Managing the Fault Management process – raising defects, liaising with developers & retesting fixes
• Executes tasks related to the production of the Test Plan, test cases, test scripts, and test data
• Develop and Execute regression and system tests
• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
• Strong knowledge on Test Automation and strong scripting skill using Java
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent Good Documentation Practices
• Strong practical knowledge and experience in programming.

• Technical proficiency in applicable technologies (database, system architecture, specialty computing, network, security, other)
• Certifications in ISTQB Foundation Level, Selenium (From ISTQB), Performance Automation and Security Testing
