OwnBackup introduces first cloud backup solution for Salesforce on Azure Cloud

OwnBackup, the US based five year old start-up launches the first backup solution on Microsoft Azure Cloud meant for Salesforce and Salesforce Cloud App on August 9. This cloud-to-cloud backup and data recovery platform designed on Azure is specifically tailored for Salesforce as well as Force.com applications.
Initially, OwnBackup for Salesforce was available only on Amazon Web Services (AWS), but now their customers can store business-critical data in AWS or Azure Cloud. The company promises to offer secure, automated, daily backups of software-as-a-service (SaaS) and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) data. They are also providing sophisticated data compare-and-restore tools for disaster recovery.
OwnBackup’s solution package is expected to match the built-in data-protection services of a SaaS vendor.  The package will provide enterprises with the performance and reporting required to satisfy the compliance regulations dictated by major industries. It is also interesting to note that OwnBackup was ranked the best backup and restore software provider on the Salesforce.com AppExchange in 2015.
Starting with Salesforce and Force.com platform, the OwnBackup aims to give its customers a single shield for enterprise data protection and management. Read more.
